The Road to Safety
What is the Road to Safety?
Safety is a learning process, and UNM is committed to creating a safe campus for all students, staff and faculty. Safety and Risk Services is taking strides to ensure that our staff, faculty, students and visitors are provided a safe environment. The Road to Safety is our vision to get there by providing safety training, ongoing communication, safety suggestions and Prizes. During the next few months, SRS will be giving out cards and candy, and thanking those of you who are contributing to safety. We are also doing weekly drawings for gift bags (with great prizes) to those who are committed to safety.
What does Safety Mean to You?
Safety means better health, well being, and a more effective and productive environment. We need your help to achieve our goals of reducing accidents on campus by 20%. This may mean taking extra care when lifting, checking to make sure your area is clear of slip, trip and fall hazards, and letting SRS or your Building Coordinator know if you see a potential hazard.
How do I Enter the Drawing?
Register below and let us know what you are doing to improve safety at UNM. Your name will be entered into a drawing. Some of the prizes include Lobo gear, t-shirts, tote bags and items for your office or car. Only UNM staff and faculty are eligible for prizes. You may only register once, and make sure you leave a phone number so we can call you if you win.
