Formaldehyde
Target Audience: Includes any UNM employee who works with formaldehyde. This information may also be appropriate to share with students and volunteers who work with formaldehyde.
Purpose: Provide UNM employees with information about the hazards associated with formaldehyde.
Content: Contains information about the specific health hazards associated with exposure to formaldehyde, symptoms of exposure, medical surveillance, PEL's for formaldehyde, how exposure is determined, preventive measures, storage and disposal and what to do in the event of a formaldehyde spill or accident.
