Surviving an Active Shooter in the Workplace
Target Audience: University of New Mexico faculty, staff and students.
Purpose: In light of recent events on campuses nationwide, the University of New Mexico Department of Safety and Risk Services recognizes the reality of violence on campus. The training video "Shots Fired! When Lightning Strikes" is produced by the Center for Personal Protection and Safety. This video addresses the likelihood of workplace violence and the strategies for surviving an active shooter.
Content: This training provides the audience with the knowledge of the types of violence in the workplace and the strategies to reduce panic and improve individual safety.
