Construction & Design Standards
The Environmental Health and Safety staff are concerned with the safety of all students, faculty, staff, and visitors on the campus. We work in conjunction with the employees of the University to develop and maintain various programs designed to protect the campus population from safety and health concerns.
EHS deals with a wide variety of concerns including working conditions, building code requirements, work procedures, and accident investigations. We perform periodic inspections of campus buildings for compliance with fire codes, OSHA regulations, and general unsafe actions or conditions. EHS assists in the evaluation of safety concerns, be it work procedures or conditions, or accidents involving students or employees. To contact us, please call (505) 277-2753.
